Online One-Time Payments Terms of Use
geezit’s online bill payment service is a secure and convenient way to pay your geezit bills. A Credit Card payment processing fee – Mastercard or VISA (2.5%) and AMEX (3.8%) per payment applies, reflecting bank fees charged to geezit for payments. Please read these Terms of Use carefully and signify your agreement by clicking the “I ACCEPT” check box. By accepting these Terms of Use, you authorise payment(s) for this payment and / or any current or outstanding bill(s) to geezit from your credit card or bank account.
To activate your online payment option you must provide us with certain information about yourself. This information includes your name, credit provider, credit card number or bank account details, account and invoice numbers and other personal details. We use this information to ensure that the bill payment process occurs accurately and efficiently. If you do not wish to provide us with the required information, we will not be able to process online payments.
You are responsible for the accuracy of all information provided. You shall not at any time provide us with information which is false, inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, obsolete or deceptive. If we have reasonable grounds to believe that you have provided us with inaccurate information, we may choose not to proceed with the processing of your payment, and the relevant bill shall remain outstanding until paid by other means or until the online payment is resubmitted with correct and accurate information.
You agree that any failure by geezit to process the payment for services does not relieve you from responsibility for payment of our services. If a payment processing failure occurs you will be notified by email. You understand that it is your responsibility to resubmit the correct information or do what is required to cause the payment to be made by the due date. geezit may disconnect your services if a payment due is not received after geezit has given you written notice of its intent to disconnect.
geezit is not liable for erroneous bill statements or incorrect debits to your account. If an error in the bill statement should occur, geezit will be responsible for correcting it if and when you notify geezit of this error.
These Terms of Use are not transferable and your acceptance of them must be submitted electronically by the person authorised on the geezit account.
By clicking “I ACCEPT” check box, you agree that you have read and understand these online payment Terms of Use. In addition, you authorise geezit to charge the specified amount to the specified credit card or bank account; and you authorise the financial institution for the credit card or bank account, specified above, to charge your account and remit payment for your services to geezit. This authorization will remain effective until cancelled by written notice to geezit given by the person authorised on the geezit account.

Online Recurring Payments Terms of Use

By accepting these Terms of Use, you authorise automatic recurring payments and / or any current or outstanding bill payment(s) to geezit from your credit card or bank account.
To activate your online recurring payments option you must provide us with certain information about yourself. This information includes your name, credit provider, credit card number or bank account details, account and invoice numbers and other personal details. We use this information to ensure that the bill payment process occurs accurately and efficiently. If you do not wish to provide us with the required information, we will not be able to process online payments.

Automatic recurring payments will be made every 30 or 60 or 90 days based on and for the amount of the current account balance. You will not receive advance notice of the automatic recurring payment, but you will receive a post-payment confirmation email following the payment processing. If you wish to submit an amount different from your account balance, please review our online one-time payment option and related Terms of Use.
If the transaction is refused by the financial institution issuing your credit card for any reason, including closed or unauthorised account, geezit will not be able to process your payment. Your geezit account may be subject to additional charges which are payable by you if your payment is rejected, reversed or refused by this financial institution.
You agree that any failure by geezit to process the payment for services does not relieve you from responsibility of payment for our services. If a payment processing failure occurs notification will be sent to the email address specified in your profile. You understand that it is your responsibility to resubmit the correct information or do what is required to cause the payment to be made by the due date. geezit may disconnect your services if a payment due is not received after geezit has given you written notice of its intent to disconnect.
If your electronic payment is rejected for any reason, geezit has the right to charge a rejected payment fee of $33.00 inclusive of GST (this fee may be varied by geezit at its discretion) and may cancel your electronic payment option. Following a rejected payment, geezit may restrict your ability to use the chosen credit card for payment of geezit accounts for a period of time. geezit may permanently cancel your use of a certain credit card, as a means of paying geezit accounts, if payment failures occur on more than one occasion.
If you wish to cancel your automatic recurring payment option, please send an email to accounts@geezit.com requesting us to cancel automatic payments.
If you wish to re-establish your automatic recurring payment option, please send an email to accounts@geezit.com requesting us to re-establish payments from your nominated credit card account.
If you would like to change the credit card or bank account on file to be used for your automatic recurring payments, you must authorise the recurring payment with the new credit card or bank account by sending an email to accounts@geezit.com requesting us to change automatic payments. geezit will then make contact with you to update the credit card or bank account. NOTE: Do NOT send Credit Card information via email.
Please note the following terms to which you understand and agree:
- To have geezit stop mailing me a paper bill each month. Instead, you will access electronic bills via email. It is your responsibility to view your bill each month.
- To promptly update your e-mail address with geezit if it changes. You can reach geezit Accounts on 1300 GEEZIT (1300 433 948).
- That geezit is not liable for erroneous bill statements or incorrect debits to your account. If an error in the bill statement should occur, geezit will be responsible for correcting it if and when you notify geezit of this error.
- That while participating in this payment option, if your account is disconnected, your final bill must be paid via EFT, mail, by using an geezit online payment option or other form of payment agreed by geezit.

These Terms of Use may be updated or amended by geezit at any time, including varying the amount of rejected payment fee charged by geezit from time to time.
